Sparr Building & Farm Supply might have some of the items you might need. It is located across 44 from Grand Traverse Plaza.

We are about to franchise them in FL, thinking this might be a great area.

But was thinking more like around Home Depot, that appears to be the highest traffic area.

Then 466 or 466a, it would be ultimately up to the franchisee.

If it were to happen around here you'll be pleased with the prices.

I like Colony, but no space for our size store
We would definitely use one south of 446a and with the huge number of houses being built down there there would be a significant demand for the right prices.

I would think it would also draw some of the neighboring communities too.

I think there's some new shopping center(s) going in around the way south end. 44? Sparr would be the competition. They have very good prices but limited variety. Their Taste of the Wild canned dog food is $2/can. I can't even come close to that online.

yes as most stores are over priced

So the mid point is 466 then, agree?

South of 466a is better. Grand traverse has open storefronts. Whatever is being built at Powell and 44. Long haul from Brownwood to 466.

You can research different dry dog food kibble forever but it is still kibble and not what dogs should be eating for every meal IMO.

My Vet said "whatever you do, make sure not to buy any dog food made in China" -- just passing it on.

There's a picture of the bar code here. (I don't use it anymore.) https://www.chewy.com/dog/taste-wild...mr9BoCHWTw_wcB

I see that chewy.com now has it for $24.49/12 cans, free shipping if you spend $49. I believe Sparr was either $2 or $1.99.

Thumbs up

that's funny...............

Well I will add The Villages to a list of preferred locations that any prospective franchisee may wish to purchase.

The question that remains is just one, we specialize in tropical fish along with saltwater & roof coral etc. Not sure if their are that many aquarium hobbyists here to support such a department.

Thank you all for the input.

But please keep the comments comming
