What happened to their greens???
I played it two weeks ago and they were very good. This morning.............very beat-up, rocks on a lot of greens and prior cup holes were not replaced very well. Take it off rotation for at least a couple weeks.

Thanks for the heads up, will avoid. For a premium price they should have premium conditions.

I think it’s all a ploy. Probably his favorite course and wants to keep the traffic down.

Played TDS yesterday. Greens were ridiculously fast. Downhill and down grain putts just put in motion had no chance of stopping unless the ball went in the cup. After several three putts, I was putting scared. I suppose if the conditions were consistently like that one would get used to it, but after playing an executive course the touch just wasn’t there. I’m thinking the super fast greens must have had something to do with the round taking 4 hours and 45 minutes?

Sounds like an executive course to me. I can play those kind of conditions for the price of our amity fee

Mastering the Technique of Verticutting GreensVerticutting (vertical mowing) in golf is a maintenance practice using vertical blades to cut into the turf, removing organic thatch, reducing grain, and promoting upright growth on greens and fairways. By slicing through stolons and removing old plant material, it improves water infiltration, oxygen flow, and turf density for faster, smoother, and healthier playing surfaces. |
