I don't envy you painting Susan. I'm not a painter and give that job to Mr. Bright. However, Mr. Bright isn't real keen on painting anymore but does it under duress.

Anyway, I don't look good covered with paint smears all over my face, arms, and clothes. Home improvement shows on t.v. amaze me as I watch the painters complete a whole room with nary a drop of paint on their bodies. Wonder if they have multiple sets of identical clothing just to make us think they are perfect painters or if they really are!

Choosing between painting and going to work....think I'd pick work but better yet...would rather go on a bike ride with Sam.

I'm afraid in this family, if the construction/repair bits were left to Tom, they would never get done. He does do the electrical and plumbing when possible (minor stuff), the rest belongs to me. The tools in the garage...mine. The garage...mine.

It is "unseasonably cold" here in Canada with frost expected tonight. Just watched everyone rocking on at LSL, and read Sammy's note about biking while smelling gardenias. Sob.

OK, so life isn't always fair and we don't always get what we want. > Regardless we should be happy every day, right?

That huge bar of chocolate that I'm planning to eat while huddled in my comforter in front of the fireplace watching American Idol should make me feel a lot better. 040 Neil Diamond is on tonight, should be a good one.

We have a freeze coming tonight here in Michigan. Thought about going out and covering up all my hostas but decided not to. Just too many of them and they are cheap to buy if I need to replant.

Anyway...I'm wearing flannel pj bottoms and a long sleeved tee to keep warm....

but....I'm barefoot...just like Barefoot... ;D

Not me. I must have shoes or sandals on. I'm never barefoot outside on the lawn. There are to many pesticides/herbicides and biting critters. Additionally, there could be construction debris under the grass that could cut you. Lastly, I'm sort of phobic about dirt getting on my feet. I should probably see someone about that. ;D When I see people walk in public places with no shoes on, I cringe. People spit and do all sorts of nasty things in public areas.

I remember the look of horror on your face when I grew out of my shoes and said "oh well I'll go barefoot". You are so cute Sammie.

OK Susan, you got me. Maybe I was afraid you would get your feet dirty in my house and I would be ashamed forever.

I am so not buying that. Your house was and I'm sure is, always spotless. Besides I saw the dishpan hands on Mr. Sam. I do think you should get him some help...making him do all the housework like that, while you are out biking.

Susan sent me two choices for a barefoot avatar .. thanks so much! I'm tired of hugging John Travolta, he is pretty boring. As you can see, I tried to install the barefoot avatar and got "a day at the lake" instead. I'll keep trying.
