Hi JM, when in June will you and Barbara be down?

If you two have a girl will you buy it a rhinestone collar?

Johnny,

Any bites on the house?

Adopting a grayhound. How wonderful. A former skating coach of mine has one.

I remember when he got "Abby". He asked me to see his dog--I quickly corrected him and told him she was his "little girl".

I became known as Aunt Peggy. She is such a sweetie.

It's because of all the new things we are going to experience, golf cart, Giovanni, furnishing the villa, tennis, bowling, softball, the squares, the pools, etc. only makes it harder to wait. I guess in the end it will make us appreciate our life that much more and keep me out of the "Where have all the buffalo's gone" threads where you can get into some deep trouble. Thanks again Nonie for your boost of confidence. So nice to have you as friend.

JohnnyM,

Im a little slow on the uptake, WOW!! A GREYHOUND! THATS WONDERFUL! WHAT A SUPER DECISION!

Wasant it a golden that you had your heart set on? They are wonderful dogs too. Im really so excited to think that you will be rescuing a dog that might have been put down.

Im sure you will never regret your decision, it just feels so wonderful to give a dog that has never had any love or attention a good home. Im sure you & Barbara will have him/her spoiled in no time.Love the name. ;D

Nonie you are absolutely right, I wanted a golden retriever in the beginning. After meeting "Blue" at Spanish Springs on our second trip, I fell for the greyhound. Blue was a rescued GH. In fact when we closed on our home in March, that night we went to SS square and met Blue and his owners again. We met them on our tour trip in January. That night they had "Greyhound Donation Night" where they put little money coats on the dogs and they went around and collected dollar bills for the adoption center. There must have been 30 beautiful dogs there. I was in heaven. Blue's owners tells us that the GH is a very low key animal and loves people. Blue lays there and loves to be petted. Blue has one blue eye and one brown eye and is totally gray. Just a beautiful looking dog. I read that they have no odor due to their short hair. They are all muscle with very little fat and rarely get sick. Walk them twice a day maybe run once (on a leash a must as they will chase anything moving fast, then get lost). Once they get to know you they will always love you. Sorry for rambling on..........Johnny

Sounds like a perfect match for you Johnny.

This is what I want. Had one before, want one again. A ferocious little Maltese.

Hi Peggy, no bites and we are back to square one after the cancelled contract. I have the Township Administrator on board trying to resolve this issue. I'm sure it will work out soon. It can always be worse. Aunt Peggy to a greyhound, sounds cute.....
