Default bogus emails

Got an email this morning from a realtor in the TV area. Said he was in London, UK and his passport and money were stolen. Asked if I would send money because he really had to take the next flight and that he would repay me when he got stateside. I knew it was a spoof and called him to let him know his email had been hijacked. He confirmed that it was, that he was indeed in TV, and that he had taken care of it. This happened to me this past summer, and it is a real pain. I was told that to help guard against this you should make sure you have a very strong pass word,(numbers / upper+lower case letters) and when forwarding, use the BCC function and delete any recipients names. I sure most of you know all this, but just a reminder that saves someone a lot of grief
