Comcast 18 % increase
I've only had Comcast Xfinity for three months and they've already raised my monthly charge , is there no way to fight this Monopoly. Century Link north of 466 is useless.

Start by visiting their store in The mall. Talk to a real person.

Cut the cord; we're getting our Roku's and will doing away with C/L Prism when the contract is up.

$43.00 a month and more good channels than we can possibly watch. Its simple to hook up the Roku, we just got a current Model Fire Tv. We're set now. Good luck with your setup. Any problems we're here for you.

Comcast usually provides a 2-year agreement with a fixed cost, except for goverment taxes. But, sometimes they offer a discount on some services for the first 3 months of the agreement. That may be why your price went up. I would suggest that you read your Comcast agreement by logging in to their website. But, I don't think it is accurate to call Comcast a monopoly because there are many other ways to get service in The Villages.

I suspect Comcast gave you some premium channels such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax for free for three months. They often do that for new subscribers. After the three month introductory period they start charging for them. You can call Comcast and cancel any premium channels that WERE free but are now being charged. Check your billing.
