Default What is your download speed? Time to switch providers?

I watch movies from youtube, Roku and Netflix. I upload photos but I can do this before I go to bed.

I don't need any TV.

How much are you paying for your download speed? And how fast is it?

Thank-you so much for responding to a thread about a topic that has been presented before.

How much are you paying? What requires that kind of download speed? I'm trying to learn. I'm not trying to be a wise guy.

Do I need that kind of download speed for Netflix or Roku? I don't want to pay for a speed I never use.

You can stream 4k Ultra HD with a good 25 Mbps service. I can get you into a 25 Mbps Comcast /Xfinity plan for $29.95 per month for 12 months, no contract. Cancel anytime. 50 Mbps Blast is $39.95 per month, 100+ is just for bragging rights.

People love to rip on Comcast but their products are the best available. And with the peering arrangement they have with Netflix, it should be a no brainer...

Call me if you're interested...

I will call you. I like 25 Mbps Comcast /Xfinity plan for $29.95 per month for 12 months, no contract. If this is all I need for Netflix and Roku, you made my day. If you tell me to wait until monday to call, I will.

Call me anytime. It's a 5-10 minute phone call and you'll have an installation date. Evening's are usually better as I do installs during business hours.

I'm one of those people who love to rip on Comcast, but never about their internet service. It is the best I've ever used, both in speed and reliability.

Tom, can you explain what "peering arrangement" means? Our Comcast 25 Mbps speed works well with Roku/Netflix and Roku/PBS, but when I try another Roku channel, i.e., TripEurope, it never loads completely, and it is infuriating!
