Smile Google Chrome Cache

All day when I click a link in Google Chrome the little icon spins and spins. I was hardly able to do anything. Through the process of elimination I found out that the Google Chrome Cache needed emptying. So if any of you have such a problem, it's a good thing to check. You click on the top right button in Chrome, go to tools and empty the cache. Probably everyone knows this already but me since I am new to Google Chrome.

Short answer... Cache is a storage area where reusable data can be stored for quick retrieval thereby speeding up your browsing experience. This page will probably give you more information about cache than you ever want to know: Cache Definition

If you are curious you can enter chrome://net-internals/#httpCache
and see the current size of Chrome's cache.
