Default iDevice meeting at SaddleBrook on Feb 13 at 7:00 PM

This sounds like an interesting opportunity to learn something about iPad, iPhones etc. Its given by residents of The Villages. They will share what apps work best for them and their lifestyle in The Villages

Cool Correction > > >

THis meeting is at Saddlebrook Rec. Center; not Laurel Manor.

Here's a link to the brand new website for this meeting/club:

Apple iClub | The Villages, Florida

This should be a good meeting to get help with your iDevice. There will be folks there that can answer your questions and I'm sure there'll be some app sharing among the individual groups.

I also belong to this club and hope to see everyone there!

Is the club open to newbies? Do you have to call and pre-register?

Default Please change place and time

Cannot someone correct the place and time of this event? I fear that many who might be interested will go to the wrong location at the wrong time.

I attempted to attend the idevice meeting tonight at Saddlebrook. I arrived 20 minutes early and the parking lot was full. I stopped to talk to two gentlemen who were trudging dispiritedly away from the building. They said they were unable to even get close to the meeting room.

Obviously the demand is HUGE. I'm sure there will be additional meetings scheduled. ME Mason is our TOTV "go to" guy who will let us know. I've had my iPad for two years and I haven't even scratched the surface of it's capabilities. What a neat little gadget it is.

By 6:30 the room was almost full. People stood and others sat on the floor. It was a very informative meeting. They took a show of hands of people planning on attending next month and mentioned they would try to get a larger room.

Cool

OMG!!!! I was shocked at the turnout for the iDevice meeting tonight. There must have been at least 200 people there. I was there at 6:20 and the room was almost full already and by 6:45, it was standing room only and lots of folks were actually sitting on the floor in the front. They closed the door before 7:00...full house!

Seemed that folks were getting some good information, as far as how to get their iPads setup and functioning properly. The planned format of this meeting was to have a short presentation and then have "guru's" walk around and answer specific questions and help folks. With the size of the crowd, that was just not possible.

For those of you, who were not able to get in tonight or have some specific questions that you couldn't get answered, I can try to help you. You can PM me, with you question and I'll do my best to get you an answer.

Mike
