Dan, thanks for the info. We discovered that last Dec. when we went Ro print our boarding passes to my "wireless" printer. Hope they expand the list, but there is still a printer available for under $100. It surely beats the laptop at the airport!!

I bought an HP1102W wireless monochrome laser printer for about $75 (online, on sale) and it works flawlessly with the ipad and my other network computers.
I'm sure there are also multifunction/color/inkjet printers that also fit the bill.

I have an IPHONE 4S, an IPAD 2 3g with the max of everything on it and a Lenovo laptop fully loaded. I also still work. You cannot use the IPAD in place of a laptop or a computer if you are wanting to run large programs, do Office programs and save files, etc....The IPAD is awesome for travelling, reading books, surfing internet, pictures, etc but if you need to do substantial work you need a laptop. I love technology and I upgrade all the time. It is nice to have all the options for different functions, but if you have real work to do electronically, choose a computer or laptop. The IPAD 2 is a luxury for communication, reading, surfing and some small work. Not for bigger projects. The keyboard is not fast like a computer keyboard. I love having all the options.

I've got an iPad2 on my Christmas list. Does anyone know if it will print to a Kodak ESP 7250 using the wireless function.
TIA, Bob |

Bob...the only printer brands (and not all models within the brands) supported directly by Apple for ipad printing are Brother, Canon, Epson, HP, and LexMark
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356 Here's a discussion thread specific to your brand/model. https://discussions.apple.com/thread...art=0&tstart=0

I have an HP printer/copy/scanner with a great feature. I can print from my IPAD or laptop anywhere in the world, you just send whatever it is to a specific email address which links up to the printer and when you get home from wherever, your document or printer is there! Office Pro 8500 HP

Apple doesn't support it but Kodak has an app. So it looks like it's doable. If Santa is good to me, I'll find out first hand. Bob |

I have an Ipad2. I love it. I bought a HP Photosmart All In One(print - scan-copy printer) at Sam's about three weeks ago. Model is D110 and it has E Print and also AIR PRINT which is necessary to print from an I pad. Paid $39.00. Easy to set up and use with my Ipad. Photo quality is extremely good and I can put it anywhere in the house. I think that I also saw it on line at Sam's.
No problems so far. |

Maybe all should buy the IPad 2 from Best Buy and take advantage of the trade in value
That is if they have to have the latest and greatest. Although Verizon is thinking of doing the same- IMHO |
