EDIT ** While I was typing, BrianL did an EXCELLENT job of answering you, you can probably ignore my post.

Not sure what popups you're talking about. Look for a little "X" in the upper right corner or the red circle/dot in the upper left corner.

I am making some progress. I went through the settings. I installed my mouse to the Bluetooth and it works great except the forward and back button on the side of the mouse don't work. Any ideas to fix this?
Also, I have not done the migration yet. My question is exactly what migrates from the PC to the Mac? Thanks everyone! |

If you're trying to use a 3rd party mouse with a Mac, you have to "teach it" what you want it to do, with the "Settings". Go to "Settings". Type "Mouse" in the search box at the top and you'll get the screen I've attached. You'll have to go through your Settings and "teach" your mouse what do to do. They're like dogs, they don't know much until you teach them. |

Generally yes, if your overall account has a good password. The MacOS & Safari password protection is about as robust as it can get. That said, if someone knows the password for your Computer User Name, then they get access to all your passwords.

I use subscription-based 1Password that was designed for Apple devices but can be used and passwords accessed across non-Apple devices. |

Thanks Everyone on the answers about the Key chain. Here's another question. What do all you Mac users think of the latest Magic Mouse??

I personally haven't used a Mouse since the 90's, so I'm not exactly sure why anyone has one when using a computer, unless they're doing graphic work. |

If I used a mouse, I would not use Apple's Magic Mouse because it is too small for my hand. Logitech makes some good ones but many mouse makers exist. |

New Englander, how's your new MacBook? Are you getting the hang of it? Learning curve getting less steep? How do you like it by now?

Yes, I getting more comfortable with it. Safari is tough to get used to. The Mac is really nice. Very well made like all Apple products. Now all I need is an iPhone, iPad, and I Watch.
