Question Should I delete cookies?

I've got thousands off cookies under Documents & Settings/Owner/Cookies.

What will I gain - or lose - if I delete them all?

No problem deleting the cookies. I do it weekly and as suggested before, defrag the computer also.

Yes you can delete all of your cookies. And then when you try to sign into some of your daily sites they will ask you for your USERID and password again -including TOTV. When you go to other sites - TV Guide for one, you will have to reset all of your favorites.

Cookies are a necessary evil if you do not want to have to sign into all of your normal sites.

Everyone has their own idea about cookies. Delete them all and see what extra work you have to do and then decide if it it worth it.

More important, get rid of your temp files. Empty the TEMP folder. Delete all files with .tmp.

'puter will run faster
