Just got this app for my iPhone. It is an app from a Mark Cuban company, and is available for free in beta. Android to follow. Saw him on TV recently talking about it.

If you are wondering who is watching your texts, this app is for you. Texts dissappear 30 seconds after being sent or read. No trace left on servers or cached on device. Also, instant notification if recipient takes a screen shot of a message you sent.

It works great. Only drawback I see is that it is easy to loose your train of though just as a message disappears.

But the "Mark Cuban" company has all your texts...to read, to data mine, to do what they wish with. I'm sure your texts do stay on a server...theirs. What people/companies say and what they do...are usually different.

I think the people who developed this app was on Shark Tank and Mark invested in them. I seem to remember the episode. I thought it was interesting at the time.

You can watch here (Cuban's visit to Jay Leno show.) Cuban says HE came up with Idea as result of his SEC headaches and ARod's experiences - they grabbed all his emails and misconstrued the contents to try to convict him. He wanted a system that would prohibit anyone from being able to pull that in the future - Hence disappearing messaging's Cyber Dust. Messages disappear in 24 seconds after being read just like a the shot clock!

The whole point of this app is that texts are encrypted, and are removed from all servers and devices within 24 seconds of being sent or read. Unread texts are removed from servers after 12 hours.

It just smells of being a honeypot. All your private texts, texts you want to keep private, are sent using their app, to their servers. They can say anything, it's what they actually do that worries me.

Mark Cuban is a brilliant business man, who says a lot of things he shouldn't. He is getting constantly fined by the NBA for some of his comments. If he keeps this up, the NBA will be able to build another stadium in his honor, as it will be from his money.

For such a bright guy, he sure puts his foot in his mouth a lot. IMHO

Which usually means a liar and a cheat. Brilliant in business is code for conniving. Be wary of giving this man all of your private texts and phone contacts.

Referencing the NBA, he said in today's paper that,"he's glad to contribute, to the donut fund".

What a guy!!!!! NOT!!!!!
