Just an FYI to people using the rec centers to connect to the internet you are currently not able to access Thevillages.com at a rec center using thevillagesdotnet connection. I have verified this at Colony Cottage, Lake Miona and Laurel Manor. This was also verified by one of the officers of The Villages Computer Club. A work order has been opened with the IT department as a number of calls have been placed.

It seems that there is a trusted site issue in their software settings that needs to be corrected.

Now if you go to any other open WIFI site such as Barns & Nobel the connection works with no problem.

Users trying to look at new and pre owned home listings and TV web cams are a couple of examples of sites that one cannot get to.
