Default Has anyone replaced an exhaust fan ..

in their bathrooms? The orig fan installed in our master bath cant even get out of its own way! The steam stays forever and humidity ( as we all know ) is a real mess down here . I looked at Home Depot and saw I could purchase a larger CFM exhaust fan, is this simple or hard to DIY? Anyone know?

Our original fan died, we went to Lowes, got instructions from the guy who sold us the fan - "any idiot can do this", so being any idiot the other half decided to do it. Biggest problem was getting the old one out and holding your arms above your head for so long while you complete the job. It really is quite simple, and you can get step by step instructions off the internet for almost any DIY project now. Go for it, if it doesn't work out you can always call the handyman who is highly recommended on TOTV, and right now I cannot remember his name!

Remember, it is best to turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker panel.
