Your best bet depending on what is wrong would be to go to the Apple Store. Make a reservation online at one of the stores and take it there. You could also call them and see what they say.. I dont know if the Geek Squad at Best Buy could help or not since they sell Apple.

The Apple store is one good option.
DON'T have a windoze person touch it.....

You are lucky to have a Mac Users Group that meets right in the villages.....called a MUG. They meet monthly. I would not be surprised if you contact them that they might be able to help you a lot cheaper then the Apple store.....

They might know a certified Apple tech locally who could fix your problem quicker, easier and cheaper then going to Orlando. For instance, up here in NY, I'm 30 miles away from a Genius Bar.....BUT, I have a certified Apple Tech living just down the street from me who does everything for me Mac-wise for a fraction of the cost.

You do not say weather you have a software or a hardware problem. Sometimes just looking a one of the many good Apple forums, like at www.appleinsider.com (there are many more), you can post your problem and within minutes someone can tell you step by step exactly what to do..........all free.

Apple folks are like family.....we help and stick together.

I can't wait to attend your MUG group down there.........(and yes, I was told I can attend, as the MUG group pays for the use of a room, so that non village Apple folks can attend...)
