Default Awning vendor needed

Just moved into place with existing outside roll out awnings that need work. I prefer dealing with contractors that people have used and recommend as good. Does anyone have a company they can recommend to me? thanks

This website has references to many handyman contractors. You can search and call one or more of them and ask if they can help you. I would stay away from specific awning vendors because I have heard that it is extremely expensive to have an awning vendor do work at your house. A good handyman should be able to figure it out. One good handyman is Aloha Larry, 561-239-0797.

Thanks retired guy for the info but may need fabric too for them so think I need awning company. I realize they may be very expensive that's why I was looking for a recommendation versus just calling a random company.

I have dealt with The Awning Authority in Ocala ((352) 351-3642) with good results.

Ok, good luck. I have heard horror stories that you can buy a new roll out awning for about 800 dollars or so. But when you call the authorized installer, they come out and install it in about 30 minutes, and they charge you more than 1200 dollars for installation. Just a word of caution. Almost any handyman can install the awning.

Default Awnair Awnings

Awnair is a great family business. They made and installed them on our windows two years ago. This past hurricane season I called and asked for them to schedule taking them down. He came by and inspected them and because they are shallow in depth (more of an eyebrow) he called to tell me it wasn't necessary to take them down. No charge!

Check your awnings and see if the brand is on it. Then google the brand and see who sells them locally. By checking the brand name, I found out that ours were installed by Awnair, and they were very helpful and had all the records on our installation.
