Default Bad experience w/ Concrete Creations

We had our driveway done by Concrete Creations. After dealing with always late arrivals for the work and paying Mr. Allen for the job as stipulated on the contract, he is stopping and telling several of our neighbors we still owe him $125 for artwork that WAS stipulated on the contract and INCLUDED in the contracted price. He is, by, far not the cheapest of these companies (we believe you get what you pay for), so we want to warn anyone thinking of using him to be sure you write out what YOU think you understand as the agreement - in addition to his contract - and have him sign it.

This individual is "telling neighbors" about your financial matters. If what they are "telling neighbors" is not true, that is "slander." I would contact a lawyer. They just can't do that.

We also had our driveway done by Concrete Creations. They did a nice job and the result was just what we wanted. We encountered problems with the garage door sticking to the painted surface and pulling it off. Their answer was to buy a new door seal which did nothing but stick to the paint. We were told they would return and fix the damaged paint, but never did. Instead we installed a vinyl strip where the door hit and that solved the problem. Later, we asked them to reseal the driveway and fix areas where the paint had popped up or the concrete had chipped. Nothing happened. Finally, after about six months, they returned and sealed the driveway, but they didn't have the proper paint to do the repairs. They left, promising to return with the proper paint color. Haven't seen them since. Although they claim we have a warranty on the driveway, I don't expect to ever see them again, and I will use someone else next time it needs to be sealed.

They do good work, but getting them to stand behind the work is impossible.

Remarkably stupid too. Who in his or her right mind would hire a contractor who went around badmouthing another customer.
