We closed on our new home on oct 21st and had 48 hr blinds there that day to measure for blinds. We were only going to be there until the 24th and they weren't sure they could install them before we left so we agreed if not we could hVe them installed on nov. 5 th when we came back. They said they would call and let us know. We haven't heard anything, and we have left two messages and an email wondering if we are going to get blinds when we get back on nov. 5th. No return call.....nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? Any other recommendations for blinds?? Thanks*************** I just want to say, since this post we have received a phone call and an email from 48 hr blinds. we are scheduled for install on nov. 5th when we return. I do want to say that when they came to measure they knew their business and were very helpful. I feel much better with a confirmation . as business owners ourselves, I know how busy and crazy it can sometimes get! Thanks !!

We used Guy Murray. I believe the name of his company is Shutter and Blind Pro. His number is 352-239-9994. We started working with him long distance prior to our move. He did a good job for us and I do recommend him. Good Luck.

I feel very sure that Rick at 48 hour blinds will not let you down. Since he has measured that means he will have them ready to install.

We had a terrible time with 48 hr blinds, was not a pleasant experience at all. They were called two weeks before we came down to close on the house, Rick came out and measured while the construction guys were there. I called and called, finally got an answer from a young guy who came to measure a second time, we also were only going to be there until a certain time (which 48 hr knew) and FINALLY after numerous messages and desperate pleas we did get our blinds installed the day before we left. It was ridiculous even the installer guy said it's crazy that no one returns calls or even answers the phone in the office @ 48 hr. Love the blinds, price was reasonable but the stress and worry were not worth it. Again, the blinds were wonderful but the customer service needs to improve. I told them in one of the final messages that if they were too busy to handle our order they should have told us that up front.

We used 48 hr Blinds and they were wonderful. The week after we did our contract on the house I called and left a message that we needed blinds and said we had heard so many great things about them and would love to do business with them and then gave them our settlement date. They called me back the next day and arranged to meet us at the house. He met us at the arranged time, we picked what we wanted and again we discussed our settlement date. He told us to call as soon as we left the settlement table and they would come over to install the blinds that day. We did just that and within 3 hours of our settlement we had blinds and verticals installed and ready to go. The installers were very courteous and conscientious and we were thrilled to be able to have privacy from the get go. It doesn't get any better than that ! The installers did tell us that they are extremely busy so we thanked them so much for their promptness. Hope things work out for you too.

I THINK that Rick and his wife and his two installers want to stay the same size. Maybe because we aren't too far from build out. By not adding phone answerers they do keep their cost down and that keeps his prices down.
I think of them as most people think about T and D, the best but you may have to wait for them. Rick is good, a little stubborn about not answering his calls because he IS working. And his product is good, his reputation on standing behind his work is flawless. He is an ethical, honest man and I like him and think he has the best product and the best installation technique.

My problem with Rick was several years ago. I needed blinds for 4 windows. Kept leaving messages, never answered. Finally I got a real person on one of the calls and he told me that he couldn't do my house because everyone else wanted a full house of blinds and I was only 4 windows. Never called him again. Blinds and Shutters came out the next day. So when I enclosed my lanai with 5 sliding doors, I called Blinds and Shutters again and they did a fabulous job.

48 hr Blinds did a wonderful job with install and measurement. I called them on the Monday of 4th of July week and left a messages to call me. The called back within the hour, they went to our house that afternoon to get the measurements and installed them later that week when we moved in. They were fantastic to work with and very professional.
