Wondering about gas engine vs. battery? Hard doors with A/C? 2 seater or 4 seater?
How fast can they go, and how long do the batteries last? Or, how far on a full tank of gas? Who did you buy from and what was your experience. I don't want any horror stories, just the "good service" "good price", we are happy with this place kind of response.... thank you in advance! -JP |

Regarding 2-seater vs. 4-seater, unless you have a lot of visitors I believe a 2-seater is better. You can always rent a 4-seater if you don't need the capacity very often.
Carts and Clubs in Ocala is a good source for golf carts. If you need service, they come to your house. Yamaha gas carts with fuel injection (most of the carts since 2013) will go 250 miles on a tank of gas. Quote:

For what ever reason, the OP asked the question and I answered it. It, however, is hardly a non-issue. It means that I only put gas in my cart every 3 weeks.

Really, I don't think anyone knew that. Thanks for enlightening us. 90% of cart buyers have been choosing gas carts over electric carts. I am sure they will want to trade them in for an electric cart right away.

our first cart was a rebuilt electric and our second a new yamaha gas that we bought at villages golf cars at colony plaza. liked the smoothness of the electric but the peace of mind from the range of gas.

One of the things to remember is that a good percent of the fires in garages in TV are related to electric golf carts.

If you're looking at electric Bill Bryan Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Fruitland Park sells GEM cars by Polaris. You can get doors or canvas cover, a box on back or a golf set up, radio, upgraded wheels and rims etc.

Will you be seasonal? I mulled the idea before I became a frog. I thought Of buying an electric And having it set for 6 months would be a waste. As batteries do have a finite life. Resale value an electric cart that needs batteries is not worth much. A gas one with an empty tank, Not a big deal. 2vs4 seat biker has the right answer. While searching for a place to buy I would notice all the stains on concrete in the garages from what I think was from overcharged or faulty batteries leaking battery acid. If you’ve ever dealt with battery acid or acid of any kind this will help you make your decision. Now price issues have been addressed.
