Default City Furniture

We have just had our second bad experience with City Furniture. First one was an entertainment center that was delivered without the back panel and top bridge unit. They were on back order for 3 months before we finally got them. Second try was this week on buying a new writing desk. They stated they had 3 in stock and would be delivered this week. Today we learned that they are on back order and would not be in until Dec. 20th. Not trusting that delivery date we have cancelled the order. We have had friends that had damaged items delivered that have had to be reordered several times. Just wanted to let other buyers beware of their lousy stocking system and delivery of damaged items.

We have had a very negative experience with City Furniture also. Their customer "NO" service offers absolutely no resolution to the issue and have tried to blame it on my high expectations of the purchase. I sincerely hope their reputation gets spread around The Villages and they are forced to close the stores. Their online reviews are incredibly poor. I only wish I had looked at them before my purchase.

We had a very good experience with City Furniture, our competent sales person Nicole, their delivery staff, and follow up customer service. And we are extremely happy with the product we purchased. Things don't always work out for everyone.

We too had a good experience. Bought a leather couch and two chairs. Kelly was our sales person and items delivered today when promised in perfect condition.

Too all City Furniture customers--what are you going to do when the furniture you bought starts to self destruct in a few years. Unless the furniture is a name brand made in the USA-you're gonna have a real problem. Warranty forget about it.
