This is bart owner of coverall landscaping and pavers.
I am going to be very profesional about this subject we will touch on a couple points 1st i did not go to her she called my company to have a job done for because he had done several jobs on her road and neighborhood 13 to be exact.( and every one of them has been very happy even calling us back to do more work for them)
2nd the original quote was what this home owner wanted because cost was an issue. After having another family member get involved it turned into wall in front wall, and island plants stone work and much more.
3rd we did the job all except for the plantings and stone while the coustomer was out of town sending her photos along the way that was replied to us by saying looks great.
4th after well over a month she returns saying she was unhappy with the design in the back and i agreed but again trying to keep costs down for the customer and make it look good was a hard thing to accomplish.
5th at this point a third family member gets involved and wants to do the design with the plants and all which is fine we encourage this this family member added more plants wall stone exct. In return made her bill go up. ( everything was itemized price per unit and labor)
6th i could go on and on but what was failed to be mentioned is that the ballance was paid in two checks because i was advised the customer had to transfer funds to the account so the check would be good which i did wait till the end of the week. After depositing the check i was notified by my bank there was a stop payment on the check with no calls from the home owner to even know there were concerns. ( which after finding out there was problems we were there promptly to fix them) and after fixing the i still knocked off over $ 2500.00
of the bill to keep her happy.
7th as for my guys my forman has more knowledge than probably 70% of the landscaping company owners in the villages and no ther not kids they are young men that work very hard and do a great job ask any of my customers they love my crew.
SO WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR THE POST BUT DON'T READ INTO EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THIS FORUM INTILL YOU KNOW BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY.
THANK YOU COVERALL LANDSCAPING AND PAVERS

Coverall Owner (Bart) canvassed the neighborhood ... did several jobs...which now many are talking about how they have had to call him back to fix things...can't imagine how well his work will stand up over time ... Even his associate Is upset with the shabby work ethics Bart practices...not good...

A good tradesman never needs to canvas unless he is just starting out. Word of mouth is sufficient. I'm sorry what you're going through. Hope he corrects your issues.

I'm sorry for the mess you've got. Hopefully this will get straightened out to your satisfaction.
I'm of a mind that if I'm going to hire someone to do a landscaping, enclose my lanai, put a birdcage up or any project that runs into the thousands using an upstart or fly by night operation is never the right choice. Granted you may save some money at the beginning but what about call backs. I also NEVER hire anyone that requires money up front. If they need my money to pay for materials then they haven't been around long enough to gain my trust. Reputable companies won't ask for money until the customer is %100 satisfied. This way of doing business has yet to fail me. Good Luck!

I learned that his foreman quit working for him ...he too was a kid..they are inexperienced kids ( one is his own 19 yr old son)
((( WARNING)))..he will increase the job cost for his mistakes - to bring the job up to par standards...Pm me ..I would be interested in hearing your experience with Bart ...
