Default Handy Man please !

Hello all you Handy DIY's in The Villages... (I know you are out there as I do enjoy reading your posts !)

I am visiting my home next week (for 2 weeks) and I need a cabinet in the garage to house my extra set of clubs and other golf paraphilia... shoes, balls, hats, shirts...etc.

I have been looking at HD and other places that have cabinets that might work but the really good ones are really expensive...

This cabinet design would be real easy (I am also a DIY type but will not have the appropriate tools etc. that I would need)

I am thinking 3/4 or maybe 1/2 plywood - 69" H, 36" W, 24" D. with a section for the golf clubs and then a pole that you can hang shirts on along with a shelve to put shoes, balls etc... two doors that open outward that will accommodate a lock...

Anyone that is interested or that have ideas as I am sure I'm not the only one that has this requirement...

Thanks in advance...

Check the woodworking shop off Rolling Acres. I'm sure someone there could do it.

Look at Husky cabinets at Home Depot, these are not terribly expensive, relatively easy to bolt together, and can be locked. I have purchased 6 or 7 of these for my garage.

Hi VT, thanks for the post... and yes I did look at the Husky cabinets but the shelves don't really work for the golf clubs and the one that might work is $400.00

We had a golf bag/shoe/ball unit built and love it. David did a great job and the cost is very reasonable.

I wanted to give an update to this posting... I had Dave from Specialized Storage Solutions at my house yesterday. He showed up at the exact date and time that I had asked for. He delivered the cabinet excactly as per my rudamentry drawing and was a pleasure to talk with as I watched him put my cabinet together.
I would recommend Dave to anyone who is looking for storage cabinet for Golf Bag, Clothes Rod and Shoe Storage... (and cheaper than the Home Depot HUskie Cabinets !!)
He used 3/4 inch Melamine and I now have a very sturdy lockable cabinet anchored to the wall in my garage ... thanks Dave... Great Job...
