I had State Farm in NJ for many years and transferred it to FL when I moved to TV six years ago. In a recent conversation with them I was told that they are still writing policies in FL. There was no mention of exceptions but I’m sure there are many. My house was new when I bought it so I’m good for a while at least. You never know how good your insurance is until you need it.

Default State Farm

This guy solicits claims, he says to help people to file and get paid so they can in turn pay him the proceeds.

I worked over 30 yrs with State Farm claims, we saw this all the time were roofers came into our office to make claims for people. Told them we didn't need their help, we were trained enough (some adjusters were roofers before coming to us).

I ignore this kind of entries on TOV.

I sat down with a State Farm agent here in TV a week ago. They would insure my 18-year-old home.

I agree with Bassfish. I am also retired State farm claims. This guy is a public adjuster in Indiana. He tries to make money by inflating claims. He is just like one of these roofers who knock on your door. If you have legitimate damage to your home a good insurance carrier will take care of it. The main issues are when people don't understand what their policy covers and doesn't cover. Insurance policy are not maintenance policy for homeowners.

Wow, that is quite inexpensive compared to what everyone else is paying. State Farm last week quoted $2400.00 for my 2100 sq ft home build in 2005. Do you have a Patio Villa perhaps?

Very expensive a purchase of a 4 year old ahyundi sante fe with only 19,500 miles state farm has this darn car at $1900 per year. Meanwhile I had to leave SF on my home because of choking people. My car is $15 ,less than my home which is more than double in 2 years
