I always use American Express... they stand behind the card member not the merchant. They will give you an immediate credit while they investigate. You need
to send a certified letter demanding they cancel services and issue a refund.

Just another example, I've never had Service Smart, but two Service Smart guys just showed up at my house (for the second time in the last 3 months) and started trimming my hedges, etc. I toyed with just letting them do it, but my conscience wouldn't allow it. So I informed them (again) that they were at the wrong house. Amazing.

Good suggestion to file with Seniors vs Crime. Not only do they keep records on Companies who were allegedly questioned but they wil take up your banner and go to bat for you. It is a good idea if someone is going to use a vendor to call Seniors vs Crime and see if they have a file on the Vendor? There are Seniors vs Crime in Brownwood in the Sheriff's annex (Next to Theater), on 466 at the corner of 466 and Morse Blvd and one in Mallory.

If people really care about unsuspecting victims, perhaps petitioning the Daily Sun to not run their ads anymore might prove effective. Seniors vs Crime could provide copies of the complaints.
