He went to the barber in SS last year and got butchered! He looked like his HS Senior picture.

My future Son in Law just started at Big Al's Barber Shop in Belleview... He is an excellent Barber and can do all types of hair. Ask for Danny

Billg My wife has cut my hair since the 1970's and still hasn't gotten it right but never do I look like a senior HS picture and that is the reason I threaten to go to the barber every time she cuts it but never do. "That's it I'm going to a barber your not listening to how I want you to cut it "STOP. Poor girl's put up with this far too long. I need a kick and she wants me to honor my threat

Another vote for Big Al's up on 441 on the right.

Chris usually cuts my hair but, didn't the last time, (Alice, did my hair). The haircuts are very good and and cost $7, ($6 if you cut out the coupon in the Daily Sun).

OPen 7 days a week but only a few hours on Sunday). They have about eight to ten barbers so take a ticket when you walk in. There is a shop next door that is also Big Al's haircuts, for women, (only $10).

This is a deal you can't beat!!!!!

I use to pay $14 at Cal's and $20 back in CT without a tip.. This defies the theory, that you have to pay a lot of money, to get a great haircut. Try it and you'll like it.

I am not a person connected to this business and do not profit off my recommendation, but a satisfied customer!!!! Let me qualify, in that I have never, went into the woman's salon.

My husband and other neighbors go to Buffalo's Barber Shop in the Palm Ridge Plaza. It is located by Southern Trace, off Highway 466. Their number is 352-205-7693.

If you want him to have a style and cut go to Victoria Hair on 466 in the Santa Fe Crossing Plaza.

I see you guys decided to make the trip down here... hope it went ok and things are working out.

I go to John the Barber. He actually cuts hair with shears and not the clipper, so at least it feels like a decent haircut. He's located just south (right) of intersection of 466 and 27/441 on 441. At light, turn right on to 441 and he's located in a small strip mall maybe 400 yards past the intersection. (352-259-7251) and takes appointments.

My husband has been going to Leslies in the same plaza as Little Joeys at the south end. He has had Tony cutting his hair for years now and Tony does an awesome job!

I go to Cal's in Spanish Springs. One guy did a great job of cutting my hair. Stupidly, I never made an appointment with him and just walked in. Last time he was busy and I got a different guy who I was not happy with.

It's not the shop so much as it's about finding the right person.

I can help you with this: The place to go is " Leslie's Barber Shop " , Baylee Plaza, Summerfield...Tel 352-245-3120.

The person that your husband needs to cut his hair is " Lino " , he is there Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday....:8:00 AM til 4:00 PM, he is Italian, will cut your Husband's hair with scissors, comb, and a razor, eyebrows, etc.

Lino comes by way of Rome, New York, Miami, and right here. Your husband will not feel he's has been Buzzed at all cost $ 12.00 . The others mentioned here I can tell you Big Al's and Cal's he will get Buzzzed.

I am very particular, especially when it comes to grooming Lino is the go to guy. I'm going this Thursday, or Friday. I may take some flak from some of the people who recommended others but hey I don't mind at all

DB, which barber does your husband prefer in Palm Ridge Plaza? I agree it's more about the barber than the shop itself.

I'm looking for a barber for Fireboy. He goes to LSL now and he comes home looking like the barber put a bowl on his head and cut around it.

Billyg, Palm Ridge would be nice and handy for you.

I also recommended Leslies, but my husband uses Tony, Italian from NY. He has been going to him for years now. He's there Mon, Tue, Thur and Fri. 7 - 12 I am sure both guys are great.
