OP, curious as to how old is the vinyl siding? Is it faded or do you just want to change the color?

I don't know of anyone painting their vinyl siding but then we have always lived south of 466 in the newer areas of TV.

Can't give you the advice about "here"....maybe you could ask at one of the big box OR paint stores as they might be able to help you.

I did see it done to a home up north and it seemed to work well. There they have the extreme cold and heat changes. The house had been blue and the folks had it painted white.

To change the color - it is not faded....several neighbors have already painted it themselves...I live and work in the Villages and only want a 5 minute commute-new section makes it 35 minutes.

Are you even allowed to change the color? Check first. You can replace damaged siding - call the Warranty office with your lot/unit no. (on your ID card) and they can tell you the color to get from T & D Supply in Wildwood. We melted some by having the grill too close and were able to get an exact match. DIY or cheap to have a handyman install.

Sherwin-Williams carries a paint designed for vinyl siding, so I would think any pro could do the job. The question is covenants.

Get permission from the Architectural Committee first before you change color.

We used Scotts (connected to Deans termite/bug Co.) for a pale beige over faded blue vinyl siding. Very good work & my hubby "sweaty" did not lift a finger.
