Thanks Frank. I have a telescopic pole that I'll be installing soon, but I don't believe running the wire up inside that would be a good idea. I think I'll go with the flood/spot light mounted to the yardlight and tied into the dusk to dawn switch. I've seen one of these set ups and it really looks good.

Sounds good Greg.

I don't think it would work well to run a electric line in a telescopic pole anyway. I've seen this work well with the one piece models with the LED lights.

Your way of doing it will be good. If running a line out to the pole anyway, you may want to also add a receptacle so you could also plug in other things out there like hedge trimmers, Christmas stuff, etc.
