Default New Furnace Regulations

From what I have been told first hand from a furnace rep, it all starts with a new type of Freon. Then, new Freon detecting sensors within the air handler/furnace that when activated will shut down the furnace until the detected leak is fixed, winter or summer.

How old is the furnace? is it gas or electric? It may still be in warranty. What did they say was wrong with it?

Always get a second estimate. I called Guy once for a toilet problem and there estimate was twice that of Mike Scott. beware.

Sunshine installed our Carrier in August. Cost much much less than Munns.

If I needed a new system, I would get 3 quotes and negotiate with Munn's if they were a lot higher. I would be willing to pay more for Munn's, but not much, much more. I think they are better situated for handling warranty work because of their relationship with the Villages builders.
