Default GE Cafe Range and Microwave story...

Bought because I thought GE was a good ole "Made in America" company..NOT, after crawling under range to read S/N, find a sticker that said, Made in Mexico, Ugh!

Microwave finally coughed out after several attempts to fix, thanks to U-tube, but now we find out that the range knobs needed to be changed at a total cost of over $300....WHAT! (Six plastic knobs)

Contacted GE Public Relations and they are sending us knobs at no cost. See, there is power in prayer, and a little bit
of RANTING!...giggle!

you could have gone to any of the large stores that carry parts like home depot, lowes, etc.
I replaced mine at a cost of $ 3.00 each. They can also order them for you.

GE has just sold their appliance business to the Chinese Company Haier. They had been trying to sell it to Sweden's Electrolux but met with Gov't opposition.on antitrust grounds.
