I could be wrong, but I don't think Aveda has hair color, seems to me the caustic ingredients in hair color go against their mission of being green with botanical ingredients.
However, sometimes you can call a salon and ask if they will use a brand of color that you want and if you bring it, they will use it.
Good Luck!!

Victoria was my stylist when she was co-owner of Urban Hair Salon a few years ago and I loved her. I'd recommend her without reservation. The only reason I don't go to her today is because I found a stylist at the same salon I have my nails done and I like the convenience of a one stop shop. However, I pay $140 every 5 weeks to have my hair dyed, highlighted, cut, and styled and am thinking it's time to check out Victoria's prices.

Flipflotz,
Where do you go to get both your hair and nails done? That would be great. Also, do you know what your stylist charges for just a wash, cut, and blow dry?
Thanks.

Hair Stylist near 466A
I also live near 466A in the village of Duval. All the hair salons in The Villages shopping plazas are owned by The Villages and the hairdressers are all recent graduates of The Villages Salon Academy. After trying several of these salons I finally found an excellent hair stylist and her name is Dina and she works at Cal's beauty salon but it is in Spanish Springs. It is worth the drive to go to someone that does a great job, I hope that helps and welcome to The Villages.

Has anyone tried Geno (sp?) at Bella's in Spanish Springs? I overheard a conversation and they said he was very good.

Does he do color also? Everyone sure seems happy with the way he cuts hair.

I've used Parker once and he does have a delightful personality. I usually ask for Pam at Root 466.

Urban Hair Studio is GREAT. It's 466, past Bargains & Treasures just before 301 on the left. All the girls there (Samanta, Erica, Tamara and Whitney) are great with cut, color etc. and are very accommodating.

Medusa Hair Salon
My co-worker swears by the Medusa Hair Salon located on 441, just past the closed Florida Hwy patrol station. Their number is 326-9326. Ask for Kristen.
