Thumbs up House Cleaning

After my first post, I have since hired "Hometown Housecleaning Services" to clean our Villa. They are always on time, accomodating and polite. If you need to change a day or suspend for a month or so, there is never a problem. Susan (owner) is very versitile and they do a great job..

Default I'm the maid !

So far, thank goodness, I'm still able to clean my own home; but perhaps the day will come when I would need house cleaning service when/if I relocate to TV. I hadn't considered that in my budget.

Could anyone please tell me what these services mentioned would charge for a once/week cleaning (approximately) so I can add that to my projected budget? Thanks for any responses.

I called M & D Maids (aka Village Maids) because of the TOTV ad .. I wanted to give busines to an advertiser.

Halle and I both had negative experiences with them.

I have used Hometown Cleaning in the past and I will always use them in the future. They are professional, dependable, and extremely accomodating. Susan bends over backward to be flexible.

Wonderful company.

CIB, for prices look at the Hometown website. Like you, I'm still able to clean my own home. I just prefer not to.

I used to have Anderson but they raised their prices before a year was even up, so I fired them.

I use hometown cleaning and they do a wonderful job. Always show up during the time stated or call and lets know if running late (only once). Love them!

I've used Hometown Cleaning since I moved here two years ago. It's almost always the same two women. They are prompt, efficient and thorough. Highly recommend them.

Default House cleaning..

After using several different cleaning people since moving to TV...I am now using SETTLE IN STYLE. Pat Ebbe is the supervisor..she and her sister are in business together. They do EXCELLENT work--and I enjoy it when they are here. Their prices are commensurate with all of the others I have used. The have others in their business to help out with other tasks such as household shopping, running errands, or putting your house in order. Pat comes to clean my house--and I highly recommend her! Her number is 352.207.5702 or pat@settleinstyle.com

I have used Hometown since I first moved here, 2 years ago. Reliable, flexible, pleasant and very satisfactory work. If I didn't like them I would have changed, since there are many choices available.

I was just informed by Ultra Kleanerz that they are now only doing commercial work. Gonna give Hometown a try.

Me too, they cleaned my house for the past few months and I was very pleased with them. They broke the news to me today. I was going to post a message asking for referrals for another cleaning service. Let us know. Thanks

I used the above mentioned cleaners prior to Ultra Kleanerz. They were okay, but very slow. I think they are best for organizing and getting a home ready for sale. Nice lady, but to slow for me.

I haven't noticed that she is slower than anyone else I have used (she IS very thorough). Not sure why it would make a difference, however---she doesn't charge by the HOUR---she charges by the size of your home and what you want done! Very much worth getting a quote from Pat Ebbe at Settle In Style..352.207.5702. Her business also will do things like pack, organize, unpack, pick up groceries if you need them, etc. etc. She does a great job cleaning my home.

I've had several house cleaners since I have lived in The Villages--and she is the best that I have found!
