Default If a golf cart breakdown?

If one is traveling out and around TV and have a breakdown, who does one call for help?

I believe you can use your AAA membership for golf cart issues. I heard yesterday that they will even go out on the courses to assist with cart problems.

Hi Beady;

You may want to check with the local AAA office. I don't believe your statement is correct but please let us know if it is. They told me "no way".

I concur about 24 Hour Cart Club. I'm a member and although I've not had to use the service, it increases my sense of security. Very inexpensive also.

BTK: Last year at nighttime my golf cart ran out of "juice". I was by myself and I called my husband to let him know; and he tried calling a golf cart service listed in the phone book in TV to get help for me, but got no response that night or the next day! I have an EZGO golf cart that runs very slowly to indicate when you need a charge. (I should have been charging it all along, but I took it out that evening w/o checking the charge level.) I was able to drive the golf cart (limping along) to Arnold Palmer's Country Club. I went inside the country club to explain my predicament to the hostess, and she told me I could plug the cart into the outlet at the starter's shack. I called my husband who brought the charging unit over to where I was. We were able to plug our charging unit into the outlet at the starter's shack, then went inside Arnold Palmer's Country Club to get dinner. By the time we finished dinner, the golf cart was charged up enough to get it home. BTW, we will get a membership with a "rescue" golf cart service when we get back to TV; but it's nice to know that sometimes other help is available in TV!

My cart insurance is through AAA and it includes 24X7 service for calls.

Do you have your auto insurance through AAA so the golf cart is a rider or is the cart insurance totally separate? I wonder if this is a service offered by your current AAA franchisee (in RI) since the TV office, also a franchise, told me that cart coverage was not part of my membership?

Friends of ours gave us a tow rope as part of a housewarming gift here. They can be purchased at the Market of Marion.

I obtained my coverage thru the AAA in the villages. It is a policy only on the Golf cart. I do have my home owners through them also. I can PM you my contact at AAA if you wish.

My wife and I are under american golf cart association. We werent members when we called, but they came out to spanish springs to get us and it took about 15 minutes for them to get there. The price is good too especially considering the quality of service. Now were members and would suggest it to anyone with a cart.

Default Golf Cart Recovery

This post is old so I would like to get update info. Can anyone recommend a cart recovery service in case I would ever need one. Seems like the price is around $30. per year for one cart.

Thanks
