Default Install an inline water filter

Looking for someone to install a GE inline water system on back of my Frig.

GE Model GXRLQ Filter System

The unit is already purchased but due to GE and the villages setup for water the flex hose that TV installs doesn't matchup with the tubing needed. The unit needs about a 1/4 inch wide tube from both sides of it but the flex hose is much larger.

The hose needs to be cut and then with the smaller hose inserted into the unit. That parts easy. The other end wont work because the plastic ring is to small to go on the flex tube along with the screwed fitting that helps prevent leaks.

Went to home depot where the system with cartridge filter was purchased and had a gent tell me that the plastic ring will fit. He must be blind because the flex hose is larger then the hole in the filter.

So if anyone knows of someone who installs these devices please send me a PM.

Thanks
