Can anyone recommend a plumber or other contractor who installs water softeners in courtyard villas? Is it even possible to install one in a villa, since there is no panel visible in the garage where the main water pipe comes in? Is there anyone out there who has had this done? If so, can you describe what's involved, please. Thank you.

Our panel is between the 2 front windows, down below the electric plug for the incoming water valve. Not sure where they would put the water softner.

the best thing to do go to Home Depot and buy a water softner and they can help with installation. A lot cheaper than buying from a plumber or one of the companies that sell them.Water softner ia in the 500 dollar range

I know about not buying a unit from the local hucksters. What I'm more interested in is the feasibility of installing one in a villa that for sure does NOT have a panel door behind which would be the on-off water main valve. If there's no panel, does that mean cutting through the sheetrock near the floor halfway in between the windows to look for one? Seems a strange way to build. Appreciate any suggestions, as well as recommendations for who can install. Thank you.

We have the bonita cyv. Here is the picture of where the main water valve is in our garage. Our panel
was already in place when we purchased the house. No hunting for it and our neighbors is the same. ![]()

Thank you. Unfortunately my courtyard villa does not have that panel behind which to look for the water main on-off valve. I guess there's no choice but to cut open the wall to look for it.

before you just randomly cut into the wall - they may be able to tell you where they are located in your villa neighborhood.
We also have a Bonita, and our panel is not between the windows, but between the garage door and the first window. |
