Leveling the floor allows you to install electrical conduits underneath so you can be in code when you install electrical outlets on the exterior walls. You also won't feel as though you are leaning when you sit in a chair as the floor is now level and you don't pitch down. The pitch is good for water run off, but if you are enclosing the lanai you don't need that anymore. They can install high end, heavy duty vinyl doors if you wish. These have low E, argon gas filled windows. This lowers heat gain considerably. T&D did an outstanding job. They do the job right and don't take shortcuts. We were fortunate that we had good low E windows installed as we liked being out there so much we added a Mitsubishi Split system that cools and heats the entire lanai. We use it year round. T&D is very busy and you may have to wait a while to get an estimate and get the job completed, but then, the end result is worth waiting for!

Also used T&D. Excellent job. I wanted the living area to be open to the lanai most of the time with optional sliding doors for privacy when desired, with only top-hung sliders. They worked with me to do this.

Can someone give a rough estimate of what the cost would be to enclosed a 25x8 enclosure with glass.
