My mom has been in Elan for about 8 months. Assisted living. She loves it. I must say they were quick to respond when corona hit. Went into lock down immediately.

No experience except "hear-say"....look at Trinity Springs (another poster had commented as well with a link). I've heard great things from people who have placed loved ones there. In fact I personally know the people who've placed them. Know some of the folks that work there as well. Also have heard Mission Oaks as well. Know of someone there right now. Her husband is in our care-group from church.

Buffalo Crossings is a wonderful facility. They have both Memory Care & Assisted Living.

Also, Serenity is a great place and it is specifically for memory care.

Best of luck 😢

Avoid The Willows. Elan Buena Vista does not have private rooms in Memory Care. Rooms are shared with a curtain separating resident's beds.

We have our mom at mission oaks. She’s been there since October 2017. Very pleased with the staff and care.

The main decision for choosing MO was staff longevity. The place had only been open 6-7 years and the majority of staff had been there since opening.

My mother was at Generations Senior Living in Wildwood for 18 months. They have two or three 6 resident houses. Of the three places she lived over a 5 year period that was, by far, the best! Before that she was at the Springs ALF. I would not recommend them.

We moved out of there. Absolutely the worst. No response to the call button, poorly trained staff. STAY AWAY

My wife spent almost 2 years in Willows and I was happy for the care she got. Important to remember that the rate they give you is negotiable.

I had my mom at Sumter Place assisted living, she was “moving toward” memory care but died prior to actual move. Loved it then, mom has been gone since 2015.
