Default Hometown Cleaning?

I've read some posts on here about Hometown Cleaning. Phone calls to them have been unreturned. Does anyone know if they are still in business? If you use them, are you still happy with them? All info is appreciated.

In my experience that seems to be a problem with them. When we bought in Jan of 2011, we had no problem contacting them for a one time cleaning, but because of employee issues the owner and her husband had to substitute. They did a good job.

In October of 2011 we moved here permanently and tried calling to have them schedule us as regulars. After more than one call and no return call, we hired another. A number of months afterword, we lost the cleaner we had, and again we tried to contact them and again with no call backs and again we wound up hiring another service.

I guess that you could say that not returning calls is a good way of sending out a message that they already have enough business to handle and are not looking for more! Too bad because as I already stated, they were good!

I used Hometown twice in February with excellent results. I sent an email requesting service on two dates and received confirmation by email within a day.

Default Use once a month

We have used Hometown Cleaning for two years now once a month. They have always come the day they were suppose to and will call if they will be late or see if they can come in early. I e-mail them when I need an extra day or an extra task. They do an excellent job of cleaning.

I have used Hometown Cleaning twice a month for nearly 3 years. I am well satisfied. I can always reach the owner by phone if I need to. The service is much better than having a single specific cleaning person because if something goes wrong they can always send a substitute.

I've used Hometown Cleaning three times recently and they're coming again on Monday. I use them on an "as needed" basis. Because they send three people, the cleaning is fast! I'm always pleased with the results.
