There is a shop on 44 between Wildwood Tire and Advanced Auto, Wildwood Lawn and tractor (?), they do lawn mowers.

For house call it might cost more than new lawn mower? Let’s see takes less than quart of oil, clean or replace air filter, remove and clean or install new spark plug, and check or sharpen the blade. If able probably more cost effective to haul it into lawnmowers shop? Outside change Mobil golf cart guys might do lawnmowers too? As far as engine design basically the same? Could call handyman? Really not much to it other than some mechanical knowledge?

Thank you for posting the correct name and webpage, I did not have time to look it up. Yes I agree good people.
OP, if you can get help, have your lawn mower loaded into your trunk and take it there.
If you cannot do that: do what is noted above, and I have found the carb cleaner works very well. The final item would be to drop the small tank where the float is located, drop the needle valve, spray with carb cleaner, reassemble and start the lawn mower. I have had to do this twice for a relative that seems to forget to clean and replace the air filter.

Based on your other thread................be sure to verify the contractor's smoking policy.
