Default New Game Store

I'll preface this by saying that I have absolutely NO connection to this business!

It seems I'm always learning a new game since moving to TV - Hand & Foot, Mah Jongg, 5 Crowns, Wizard, etc., which meant a trip to the Market of Marion game shops to purchase the necessary "toys."

After the last trip to Market of Marion, I swore I'd never go back, because of all of the puppy vendors. Am I the only person that sees these little creatures and thinks puppy mills? Oh, well, that's another issue.

I was amazed to learn that the lady that runs one of the shops at Market of Marion now has a store in the Belk's shopping center. Facing Belk's, it's just a couple of doors to the right. I was so happy to find this store.

Great selection of games -- GOLF CART ACCESSIBLE!

Great to know Cinco. I love Markets of Marion, (yes, I agree with you, I avoid the puppy people like the plague) but I'm very happy there's a new golf cart accessible game store. We love to play games and have friends over. Thanks for the tip.

Her store is/was accross the highway from Market of Marion. Not sure if she closed it when she opened here.

Just as a FYI, this game store is NOT owned by the people that had the one across the street from Market of Marion. That store closed some time ago, and I don't know if they moved to another location or not. I believe that they, too, did have a spot of Market of Marion, so they may still be in business there. However, they do not own the new Got Game 2 store by Belk's.

Oh weird. There was an article in the paper that said they came from 441 north. One of the two talked about. Can't remember which but thought it was the one across from the market. Sorry for the misinformation. Just saying what I read when it was announced they were moving into TV.

Hope2b ~ in case you check back...

The only reason I really cared whether or not it was same store that was across from Market of Marion was that the people that owned/operated that store were smokers. I bought two items from them and never did get rid of the smoke smell. One was one of those bingo cushions and one was a deck of cards, of all things. I returned the bingo cushion for a refund, but threw the cards in the trash.

So, when I found the new Got Game 2, although it smelled okay in the store, I actually asked Marilyn (the owner) if she was the same person that had the other store. Needless to say, I was glad to hear her say no.

I never saw the article in the paper, but am glad to know they had one. So many businesses seem to be having such a hard time staying afloat, and I really love having that store where I can get to it in the golf cart.
