I have CYV, i don’t think can install tankless water heater, only place in my style to install it, in garage where old heater is or on wall by front door with gas line/pipes extended through that wall. I check expansion pressure every few months, in my area water pressure averages 55PSI.

You can. Our CYV has a Rinaii installed inside the garage, between the garage door and the front entrance. Exhaust and makeup air is through the roof. The HVAC and stove are gas also; the dryer is electric. It was setup this way at purchase.
