Likely other options but here is Firestone regular oil / filter for 29.99. Didn't check for fine print

The 29.95 service used conventional motor oil, which nearly all vehicles on road don’t take conventional oil due to variable valve timing, which have tiny oil passages to advance valve gear adjusters. conventional motor oil Cokes up quicker and viscosity thicker not good for modern engines. Plus lucky to get 3K on conventional motor oil before it severely starts breaking down after time and miles. Usually synthetic oil changes are twice the 29.95 due to higher price of synthetic oil and that’s using the cheaper brand synthetic oils. |

You could get another used or new car with the lifetime oil change for free, LOL. As others said, it’s a cost savings if you’re not driving that much anymore and only getting the annual change now vs every time it hits the mileage marker.

Walmart is the cheapest. The regular oil is going to be about 30 to $50 cheaper than synthetic. My opinion is that it's out of warranty I just got cheap and it seems to be fine as I don't do high mileage only about 5,000 miles a year. You can also call Sumter or look for specials in those little coupon books or go on Groupon.com, I hope this helps

I changed my oil. I bought a EWK 6L Oil Extractor Pump from Amazon for about $50 plus a quart of oil for small engines. I siphoned the oil from the engine by placing the tube down the dip stick opening to the bottom of the engine and giving it a pump to start the siphon. It is really easy to do.

Well google token maybe 39 seconds. Price depends on the oil (type, mfg, etc). But you can get an oil change for as little as $30 at Walmart. $50 - $60 for (name brand) synthetic.

Most contemporary cars specify a viscosity (i.e. 0W-20, 0W-16, etc.) that can only be satisfied by a synthetic or synthetic blend. Even my 2011 specifies 0W-20. You can, of course, disregard the manufacturer's recommendation. If you are changing the oil yourself, the price difference between synthetic and conventional oil is generally pretty small. If you are going to a shop, the difference, as you pointed out, can be significant.
