We just purchased a spa and haven't had it delivered yet. In another week or two, it will be delivered. We went with a 110v South Seas Model from Tri-County Spa. The items that drove our decision....$815 was quoted to install 220v in our lanai & the dimensions of our doors. We found that the initial models of spa that we were looking at were too large for our doors.

Not sure what to say if those R the going electrical rates, I'm glad I'm running my own 220V, it will cost me less than $200.

These guys R working on some fat margins of profit.

Just to give an idea of elec cost a #6 wire from your main panel to a sub panel is $3 a foot, a junction box with disconnect is $80.

So how can they charge $800+
