Default Painting and Crown Molding Recommendations

I'd like to recommend a couple of Excellent Contractors who have just finished some work for us.

Flaherty's Fine Painting - Liam and Trina painted our entire Gardenia Interior and did a wonderful job. Liam is a perfectionist and that's a good thing if you are hiring someone to paint your home. They both care about the finished product. They are a really nice young couple who live in the villages. My wife and I highly recommend them. (352) 639-5475

Creative Finish Carpentry of Florida - Mario Viola is the owner of this company and he has an outstanding crew. They put Crown Molding in every room of our Gardenia except for the closets and were finished in one day. They started at 9 am and finished at around 7:30 pm. That is the installation, painting, and clean-up. We have rounded corners and you just can't believe the workmanship. (407) 572-5387 www.creativefinishcarpentry.com

I, too, would recommend Creative Finish Carpentry for molding. They did a fantastic job at our house...working from 9 in the morning until 7:30 PM.

It's a joy to find a crew that takes pride in what they do...and they do it well.

I would suggest someone considering any type of work get competitive quotes from reputable builders. We have had outstanding success with B&J Builders, a former Village building supervisor, for Crown Moulding and other projects to include custom entertainment centers, shelving, cabinets and full lanai enclosures as well as additions. B&J is a General Contractor and can handle practically any job and has a number of very satisfied ciustomers in our neighborhood.

Good advice and that's exactly what we did. We got 6 estmates for our Crown Molding job from contractors that were recommended to us or were recommended on this web-site. The prices ran the range of $2,600 to $5,900. We are tickled with the price and the job that Creative Finish Carpentry provided as I'm sure you are with the contractor you selected. I'm sure that they are excellent as well. People can go to the Creative Finish web-site and get the price right up front. Not too many contractors have that kind of confidence. There are also lots and lots of pictures of their work.

Thumbs up Creative finish carpentry

Thanks to TOTV and all of your suggestions and outstanding critiques for Crown Moulding we used Creative Finish Carpentry. Mario and his crew did an excellent job for us. We had crown moulding installed in all rooms of our villa and chair rail in our living/dining room area. They had everything finished and cleaned up by 5:30 PM and they started at noon. His prices beat every estimate we had and we were not disappointed. We highly recommend Mario and Creative Finish Carpentry...

Default Crown moulding size

Mallory, in our villa we had 5 1/4 put in. Personally I wouldn't go larger than that in our Villa. But that's all personal preference. They have a special right now of a free upgrade from 4 to 5 1/4 in. not sure of other sizes. If you go to their web site and click on crown moulding, there are photo's and also prices listed for the different models in TV and Spruce Creek.

Sounds like the crown molding must be gorgeous! I have a question about folks that have rounded corners. How has it worked for you if you paint a room, say a living dining area and not the hall way where do you end the paint? Feed back from anyone with rounded corners and paint jobs completed appreciated.

Just wondering how much more you paid for rounded corners than what they show on their web site? Thanks

We also had crown molding put in our entire house and we could not believe the craftsmanship that John Worth and his crew displayed. Their work was impeccable and their prices were the best. To call John's Company "Trimworks", the number is: 352-203-9096.
