I was satisfied with the work I had done on refiguring plumbing for new kitchen sink plumbing without the garburator, but was surprised to see how much time was being spent on teaching an apprentice and how nonchalant they were about bringing in real dirty boots through the house. But the job was well done and pretty good price.

Have done multiple dealings with mike Scott. They have done good work on the gas side and a couple of doings on the plumbing side. The last time I had them out for plumbing it was terrible. Had a rookie come out which couldn’t do anything. I had them come back out with a more experienced person and it was a better experience.

I've used Mike Scott a few times and it seems to be hit or miss. Installed a new water heater - great. Installed a recirculating pump had to call a few times. When I agreed to buy a new one myself - not from them - they agreed to install it as no cost. Many times I have had to correct their repair after they left. One gets the impression that they are all interns. And, they may be. In Florida, plumbers working for a corporation do not need to be individually licensed - they are working under the master license of the owner. Same goes for electricians.

I have switched to Isherwood Plumbing - licensed and carries insurance. Lives in TV - 352-259-9331

I have used then twice the first was to hookup my washer and dryer when I first moved into my home and the guy was fast and excellent. The second time I had a young guy come for my leaking faucet and it took him over 1 hour of time to remove the handle, replace the small washer and reassemble the handle!

I had Mike Scott come to my house to replace a leaking kitchen faucet. I was told that it could not be fixed it needed to be replaced. I was charged $100. Good luck. diagnosing the kitchen faucet leak took about 10 minutes talking on his phone took about another 20 minutes and talking to me Took up about 5 to 10 minutes, so I guess the excessive charge for nothing was because we went past a 30 minute mark but I’m not sure.

We have used Mike Scott Plumbing several times. They were on time, solved the problem quickly, and were reasonable. Hope that helps.

Your post doesn't make sense. When a plumber comes to your house, there will be a service call and diagnostic fee, regardless of how long it takes. But, you said that he came to replace a faucet. So, did he replace the faucet, or just charge you $100? If you decided to not replace the faucet, then you would still owe the fee for a service call. Please clarify.

I’ve used Mike Scott for several jobs, some bigger than others. The always did great work and we’re reasonably priced. They are on time, courteous and neat, ie, they clean up the work area when they’re finished.

We finally have hot water thanks to Village Plumber LLC. A+ above and beyond for Village Plumber LLC. Devon was totally awesome on the phone, sympathetic that we hadn’t had hot water for 9 days and expedited the repair to accommodate us and get the job done. The repair technician picked up the part and installed it and then returned the old part for less then 1/2 of what Mike Scott Plumbing was going to charge. Mike Scott didn’t get it done and charged us $189. and then they wanted $989. to install the new part. And the $189 that we already paid them … they weren’t going to credit towards what we were going to have to pay to get the new installed. NOPE We felt Mike Scott Plumbing took advantage of us. Thumbs down for Mike Scott Plumbing.

Just wondering how many of these post are from people who work for Mike Scott? I called then once and their quote was so high I had to go to a different service.

We used them to install a new NG line for an outdoor kitchen. Work done quick and professionally. They were competitively priced, based on the estimates I received. Just came back out to connect the grill head the line was run for. Works like a charm.

Would recommend at least getting a quote from them for any work you need done.

We’ve used Mike Scott for two relatively easy jobs: replacing and upgrading a water shutoff valve and the same for an outside spigot. Reasonable charge and good work on both occasions. And prompt service.
