Pure Talk has a new plan
unlimited talk and text for 39.00/ mo. How do they do that? Does anybody have any experience with this service? Is it good in TV?
That price includes all taxes and misc. charges. Sounds like a winner to me. Probably can get all the crude that the fancy phones have but who really needs that? I personally just want good phone service. I even disabled my text ability on my AT&T service. If I want to e-mail I will use the lap top. Anybody using Pure Talk? |

Looked at their plans, coverage map, and phones. I liked that I could just get a SIM card free and put in an existing unlocked phone. I must have half a dozen used phones that were AT&T GSM quad band that will accept their SIM card. I also like the no contract feature. Looks like a low risk way to try them.

My husband and I have been using Pure Talk for about 8 months. It's one of the best savings of money we could have ever imagined. We are not heavy cell phone users. We don't text. They use AT&T cell lines so the service is great... we've had no problems. Both phones cost us $20/month. You can purchase phones from them, or they will send you the SIM card to install in your phone.

I have the Pure Talk plan with unlimited text and calling nationwide and it has been great. I live and work in Alaska and my job requires me to travel to Bush locations, I was pleasantly surprised when my cellphone worked out there. The service I had before was through an Alaska company GCI and I did not have reception at all of the Bush locations. It also works great when we are at our home in TV. I bought a phone(the only reason I bought a new phone was I wanted texting capability)on line inserted the SIM card sent to me from Pure Talk and was able to keep the same number, a very easy process.

I was curious if Pure Talk service would work on an iPhone. I sent an email to Pure Talk. Here is their response.
Thank you for your interest in Pure TalkUSA. We have several customers who use our SIM in their iPhones. Since we do not have data services, you would only be able to access wi-fi. Thanks, Bethany Pure TalkUSA Sounds pretty good to me. |

Wife and I have been using pure talk for over 6 months now. Great service and coverage, and at $10/Month per phone, you just can't beat it. And the unused nimutes roll over too. Also, should you need more minutes, just call and purchase more (at same rate). We love it.

Another satisfied Pure Talk customer! Have had the service $10/mo for 100 mins/mo with carry-over minutes for over a year now. We use our cell only for outgoing calls and we have accumulated over 1,000 mins and counting. What a deal and the reception is terrific everywhere we've traveled. Highly recommend if usage isn't for long chats. The prepay no contract is another perk. Customer Service is prompt and very pleasant. .....b
