Kent Furntiure in Belleview. Also, check out Bargains and Treasures at 466/301. Consignment but you can find some nice items sometimes.

There are a lot of Badcock stores nearby and we found a lot to like at Babettes in Leesburg.

I ordered a lot of my furniture from Badcock's in Leesburg and all of it was delivered in a matter of 2 or 3 days. They were very accommodating and their prices were reasonable. Ask for Jimmy, a very nice young man who is extremely helpful. I have another store for outdoor furniture, if your interested PM me and I'll look the name up for you. They delivered furniture that was on their floor in one day. Prices fairly high but excellent quality. They too are in Leesburg.

I found Rooms to Go in Ocala very accommodating. Babettes took too long.

We moved here in June and shopped all around for furniture. We found the best prices and best delivery with Southern Lifestyle and Showcase Design. If you log on to the Newcomers website, you will find a 10% coupon to use. We used Scott at Showcase Design and he was outstanding. He even recommended having one or two pieces of furniture delivered for our bedroom before ordering the rest to see if it was all going to fit. Good advise - it's easier to order again than to try to return and pay a return fee if they'll do it.

JC Penney. Buy it up North and they deliver to TV (but only deliver one day each month to the TV area).

We were in a similar situation this past October and had only 1 week to get everything furnished and setup. We drove down in a truck with some stuff (electronics, mattresses, linens and other misc. items - e.g kitchen appliances) and arrived late on a Friday night. We then went out to Showcase Direct Saturday AM and picked out the big stuff - 2 BR's, living room, DR, and 3rd BR computer furniture. They delivered and set everything up 4 days later on Wednesday.

Various misc. pieces -- lamps, bar stools, TV stand, etc. - were purchased at Kirklands, CostCo and Best Buy.
