Lowes has very good prices and they deliver and install the next day. Here is the hint of the day...Go to the post office and get a change of address packet. In the packet is a 10% off on purchase at Lowes. Save $50 on a $500 dishwasher. FYI the coupon is also honored at Home Depot.

Lowes is good.
So is Best Buy.
Shop around for your best deal including delivery. My only suggestion would be to avoid GE and Maytag.

Last spring we got a Samsung Stainless Steel interior dishwasher on sale at Best Buy for nothing down and no interest for 18 months and free delivery. It is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had.

Default Dishwasher

There is also a Sears outlet up on 27/441 and 42 in Baylee Plaza - not sure how their prices are. I also would avoid GE like the plague.

Another vote for Appliance Direct. I have used them in the past for appliances for our rental condo in Orlando.

Default Beware of plumbing

I bought a new dishwasher at HD over the Black Friday weekend, and then was informed by them that they will not install in TV because the plumbing with the plastic fittings does not meet plumbing code for their installers. Had to find private party.

Default Dishwasher Installation

Be aware, I bought a new DW from Home Depot in November and was surprised when they told me they could not install it, as their plumbers would not touch the plastic installations used in TV, as they are not up to code. Luckily i had someone who does other handy work take care of it.

Default TV home materials not meeting code??

MN2FL - What year was your home built for the plumbing not being up to code? We are building this summer and it scares me a bit that their materials are not up to code.

We've used Kenmore products from Sears many times over many years and have always been happy with the product and reliability. When we need to dump the GE junk we'll definitely go Kenmore!

Do the HD plumbers have a different code than the county codes?? What gives here?
