Default Solar tube in kitchen?

We are having The Solar Guys install three solar tubes in our home. I have no problem with the placement of two of them, but am not sure about the kitchen. If the tube is place over the sink between the light that is already there and the front edge of the sink, is there a shadow when using the sink?

Thanks,

Pat

No shadow. We had them put 5 in our home and the one in the kitchen is the best location. We do not turn a light on during the day now.
Those guys are fast, clean and do a good job.

I've seen references to solar tubes, but I'm not sure what they are. Can someone enlighten me?
