We had ours installed at The Villages Golf Car maintenance facility when we had the last tune up. Cost of the speedo and install was about $150.

If you have a smartphone I highly recommend downloading Speedview. It's free in Google's Play store and accurate at all speeds. I'm sure Apple has some as well

Question Why a speedometer?

Why would anyone need a speedometer on a golf cart? My Yamaha Cart was set by The Villages Cart Store to a max speed of 20 mph and verified with both a GPS unit, and my iPhone. Only Street-Legal carts would need a speedometer when driving on cart paths. Just wondering...

Maybe it will speed up past twenty going down a incline.

The nice thing about the speedometer like the one the Villages golf car store installs, is they give you temperature, time and distance you have traveled.

Todd Casey installed one on my cart. I think that it was $80 including the speedometer. Todd is great for all your golf cart service. 352-256-2068

I want to know how many miles I put on & I don't wear a watch since I retired, so the clock works out great.
